The annual One Green Way Invitational Pro‐Am
Quinta do Lago was recently awarded Europe’s best golf destination 2024 at the prestigious World Golf Awards and is a key part of the One Green Way lifestyle.
The second annual One Green Way Invitational Pro-Am welcomed elite players from around the world, including legendary Ryder Cup-winning captain Colin Montgomerie OBE, to what is quickly gaining an enviable reputation as the most sought-after private golf tournament in Europe. “This is a very special event indeed,” said Colin, “I was proud to be a part of it.”

In the end, British professional golfer Paul Broadhurst victoriously took home the €55,000 prize, while local resident and high-handicapper Asif Oomer claimed the Amateur Trophy.
The event closed with a glamorous Gala Dinner hosting over 200 VIP guests at Bovino Steakhouse. Annika Sorenstam, a big fan of the Algarve, joined an elite guest list. “I’m enjoying the hospitality of Portugal,” she told us, “Quinta has so much to offer, it’s so beautiful here…”
